How beautiful is #miltonkeynes at this time of the year? ????????????

We’re so lucky in this City to have so much green space around us…10 million square metres of grassland according to @miltonkeynescouncil

You may have noticed that the parks and road verges look pretty overgrown at the moment, but it’s deliberate! MK Council have a “smarter” grass cutting policy and support #NoMowMay, a national campaign which encourages people not to mow their gardens for the month in order to encourage wildflowers and boost biodiversity.

MK Council have also seeded additional wildflowers around the city. So, if you spot slightly longer grass and more wildflowers than you might expect in public green spaces, now you know why! ???? ????????
