Sheffield’s pioneering SUDs planting scheme ‘Grey to Green’ looking pretty lush here with the changing seasons.????️????

These photos were taken by one of the masterminds behind the scheme @nigel.dunnett who says: “…this is a flood management scheme, a wildlife green corridor, an urban cooling installation, and crucially, it creates an attractive setting for inward economic investment and regeneration.” ????????

You can see a lot more about the horticulture of the site on Nigel’s original post and there’s a great opportunity to visit tomorrow (Sunday 21 May) as monthly @pollenmarketsheffield will be taking place, 10am – 4pm.????
