Visiting a restaurant from where I have been ordering food to be delivered to my older son’s college campus for almost two years… @unkai.freiburg

For some reason @lieferando app would not work for him here.. whenever he was craving really good sushi, Alex would call me to order him dinner. On regular basis, this is the only restaurant he would order food from while studying here… We had to go and check it out while visiting Freiburg.

#Unkai is called the sea of clouds. The way the food is presented, the taste, the service, one definitely feels like being on a cloud ☁️ If you are ever craving Asian fusion dishes, @unkai.freiburg is definitely one of the best restaurants we enjoyed (and now know why he never got tired of it… it’s truly delicious ????)

Unkai is located in the area of Freiburg called the Green City. They realized as early as the 1970s and set out to become an environmentally friendly city. Since then, the city has come up with many sustainable solutions and carried out numerous projects. Green city is one of them ????

Freiburg already boasts a wide variety of sustainable buildings that, as net-energy-plus building, produce more energy through renewable sources than it needs for heating, cooling, ventilation, and lighting. These gorgeous buildings are not only ecstatically beautiful, they are a part of the affordable housing project, and are sustainable, meeting own energy needs… why don’t we do more of this kind of urban planning in Canada?

Now to walk off these extra calories and enjoy the city, before turning in early to get some beauty sleep for tomorrow’s big day ????
