Hello Almaty, Kazakhstan! New country (nr. 111) new city. My first 24 hours have still been work-filled but walking around I’ve got a glimpse of the beautiful mountains surrounding the city, the many parks and tree-lined streets, the lovely people (who are willing to help a non Kazakh and Russian speaker) and a chill vibe.
